Broadway Tower: The Cotswolds Stop I Didn’t Want to Leave
A visit to Broadway Tower in the Cotswolds — a fairy-tale-like folly with incredible countryside views. Here’s what we found, whether you need to go inside, and what to know before you visit.
The Cotswolds is one of those places where getting from one destination to another can easily turn into half a dozen unexpected stops. Famous villages, historic market towns, rolling countryside and viewpoints are scattered across the region, and some of my favourite discoveries have been places I knew almost nothing about before arriving.
This collection brings together my travels around the Cotswolds, from well-known destinations to quieter villages, historic landmarks and places discovered during road trips through the region. I’ll also share the reality when a famously picturesque stop turns out to be considerably busier than the photographs suggest.
There is still plenty left for me to explore, so expect this collection to grow — probably one unplanned detour at a time. 😆
