Share your photos, stories and local knowledge with One More Stop! πŸ“Έβ€οΈ
One More Stop is all about discovering places worth visiting, from famous landmarks and magnificent castles to beautiful villages, hidden ruins and unexpected stops. But I certainly don’t know every interesting corner of Britain, and that’s where you come in!

Whether you’re a photographer, history enthusiast, local resident, fellow traveller or simply someone with an interesting story, you’re welcome to suggest or contribute material.

One More Stop thank-you card surrounded by travel photographs, a camera, map, journal and miniature BeeFree car.

What Can You Contribute?

I’m especially interested in original photographs, first-hand travel experiences, local history, interesting facts, destination recommendations, practical visiting tips, personal stories and thoughtfully written articles. Perhaps you know somewhere I’ve never visited, have a photograph that captures a familiar place in a completely different way, or can share a story that deserves a wider audience. You don’t need to be a professional photographer or writer.

Genuine knowledge, curiosity and an interesting perspective are much more important.

Could Your Work Be Featured?

Absolutely! Suitable contributions may be included in existing articles, inspire new guides or become a dedicated reader-contributed feature. If your material is selected, we can agree on a suitable credit, such as your name, preferred contributor name or photography credit. Where appropriate, you can also request a link to your own website, portfolio or social media profile.

Original Work and Copyright

Please only submit photographs, writing or other material that you own, or that you are authorised to offer for publication by One More Stop. If someone else owns the copyright, explain who owns it and provide details of the permission covering the proposed use. Material being available online does not automatically make it free to reuse.

You retain copyright in your own work.

Sending material for consideration does not automatically give One More Stop permission to publish it.

Permission to Publish

Before publication, we will agree in writing, including by email, which material One More Stop may use, where it may appear, how you will be credited and any agreed social-media promotion. We will also agree on any time limits, restrictions and arrangements for ending permission or requesting removal.

Permission will normally be non-exclusive, meaning you can continue using your work and allowing others to use it. We will agree on any permitted editing, cropping, formatting or captions, and discuss substantial changes that could affect its meaning or accuracy.

Contributions are voluntary and unpaid unless a separate payment arrangement has been expressly agreed in advance.

Publication does not guarantee publicity, website traffic or commercial opportunities.

Accuracy and Editorial Standards

One More Stop aims to publish reliable, informative and genuinely useful travel content. Please distinguish personal recollections and opinions from established historical facts, and share sources where possible. I may independently verify information, request clarification, edit material for clarity or decline submissions that don’t meet the website’s editorial standards.

Submitting something does not guarantee publication.

People, Privacy and Permissions

Please take particular care with photographs or stories involving identifiable people, especially children. Let me know if your submission contains sensitive personal information or if there are restrictions on how the material can be used. Do not submit private correspondence, confidential details or personal information about other people without an appropriate basis for sharing it.

Personal information supplied with your contribution is handled as explained in the Privacy Policy. Before publication, we will agree on the name, credit and any website or social-media link you want displayed publicly.

AI-Generated or Heavily Altered Material

One More Stop values authentic travel photography and accurate descriptions of real places. Please disclose if a photograph, illustration or written contribution has been materially generated or altered using AI. Ordinary photographic adjustments are welcome, but altered or generated material must not be misrepresented as an authentic record of a location or event.

How to Get Involved

Start by sending a short message explaining what you’d like to share. You can get in touch through the One More Stop Contact page: Contact One More Stop. If your idea looks suitable, I’ll reply with details about sending photographs, written material or additional information. There is no need to send large files before we’ve discussed your contribution.

Requests for Corrections or Removal

If you believe your contribution has been incorrectly credited, inaccurately represented or used outside our agreement, please get in touch. I’ll review your concerns and consider appropriate corrections, updates or removal requests in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
