Be Part of One More Stop! 🄰

One More Stop begins with curiosity: a turning I haven’t taken, a building I want to know more about, or somewhere that looks worth pulling over for. I’m Joseph, and I explore, photograph and write about these places to help you discover a few you’ll love too. If something here has inspired a day out, brought back a memory or simply made you smile, I’m glad you found your way here. There are lots of ways to be part of this independent project—and most won’t cost you a penny.

šŸ“ø A Place You Know. A Story Worth Sharing.

Perhaps you know what a familiar building used to be, have a photograph that deserves a wider audience, or can recommend somewhere I would never have found on my own. It might be a quiet village, a remarkable view, an unusual attraction or a practical tip that would make someone else’s visit easier. I’d love to hear about it.

You don’t need to be a professional writer or photographer. Local knowledge, personal experiences, corrections, original photographs, visiting tips and suggestions are all welcome. Sometimes a small detail from someone who knows a place well is what makes its story interesting.

You could suggest a destination, help improve an existing article, share an account of a memorable visit or contribute a complete story. Particularly interesting submissions may become a dedicated reader-contributed feature. If your work is published, we’ll agree on the credit you’d like and, where appropriate, a link to your website, portfolio or social profile.

There’s no need to send a polished article or large files straight away. Start with a short message explaining your idea, and we can discuss the details. Please only offer material you own or are authorised to share. Before publication, we’ll agree in writing on how it may be used and credited; you retain copyright in your original work. Read the Contributor Guidelines for more information.

ā¤ļø Help Someone Else Find Their Next Stop

If you’ve enjoyed an article, think of someone who might enjoy it too. A friend planning a weekend away, a relative who loves local history, or someone who keeps saying they ought to get out and explore more. Sharing a link, recommending One More Stop or leaving a helpful comment is a wonderful way to help others discover the website.

A personal recommendation means a great deal to a small independent project. It can introduce a new reader to a place they’ve never considered, or encourage someone to explore a familiar corner of Britain with fresh eyes. You can also help by pointing out an outdated detail or adding local knowledge that makes an article more useful.

A Little Hello from Me

I’m the person behind the camera and the articles. One More Stop is something I build around real journeys, plenty of research and the occasional ā€œquick stopā€ that turns into an entire afternoon. šŸ˜‚ I love discovering places, but hearing that somebody enjoyed a story, contributed an idea or visited somewhere because of an article makes it even more worthwhile.

ā˜• Fancy Buying Me a Coffee?

If you’ve enjoyed exploring One More Stop, found somewhere new to visit or simply liked what you’ve read, you’re very welcome to buy me a virtual coffee! It’s a lovely little gesture that helps keep the website running, the camera clicking and BeeFree heading towards the next adventure. ā¤ļø

Fancy Treating Me? ā˜•

You can buy me a one-off coffee for Ā£5, or choose any amount from Ā£2 upwards. No strings attached, just a little kindness that’s always appreciated!

And if you’d rather keep the coffee coming, there’s also the option of Ā£3, Ā£5 or Ā£10 a month. These payments renew monthly until cancelled, and you can manage or cancel them whenever you like.

Of course, there’s absolutely no obligation. One More Stop will always be free to explore, and sharing a photograph, suggesting somewhere interesting or simply enjoying the articles means just as much to me.

Payments are securely handled by Stripe. You can read the Support Payment Terms and Privacy Policy before paying. These are voluntary payments towards an independent project, not charitable donations or purchases of membership benefits.

However you choose to get involved—through a photograph, a story, an idea, a shared article or a coffee—thank you for helping One More Stop grow. I’m looking forward to seeing where the next stop takes us.

One journey. One story. One more stop.
